We wanted to be environmentally conscious when we cut down a Eucalyptus tree in our backyard. Instead of throwing away the wood, we sawyered it into 2" planks, let it dry in our garage for a year and then turned it into outdoor dining room tables and couches. We didn't save time but this was definitely more creative and cost effective.
